Otb Prototypes

OTB Prototypes was founded by Myk Bates because of his passion for turning ideas into real products. There are engineers and artists in the world but Myk falls somewhere in the middle. He was born an engineer with a lot of creativity and has been the engineering mind behind various projects such as aluminum components, steel structures, high temperature ovens, and others. His creativity can be seen in both private and public art commissions in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.

Drawing on creativity and a very broad background knowledge and experience is what Myk uses to take ideas from the concept stage to the world stage as a physical product that can be manufactured for personal use or to sell. This journey of creating is the passion of life for Myk. Sometimes that may be welding together pieces of steel or aluminum. Other times it is machining components to build a product.
